Hi Friend! I’m Katy Van Akker, born and raised on the south side of Chicago. I currently reside in Washington state with my husband and two children. I spent a few years living in Southern California, where my passion for travel and Disney really ignited. I was lucky enough to partner with a health & fitness company that sent me on a few free vacations, where I discovered new places and the wanderlust life. But even through Hawaii, Costa Rica, Mexico, Jamaica, and many other tropical paradises, Disney has always had my heart.
I specialize in Disney destinations, other theme parks, luxury all-inclusive resorts, cruises and more. Even if I am not the right fit for your trip, I would love to help you find someone that is! I want your travels to be successful and care about your vacation as if it were my very own.
WHAT MAKES ME DIFFERENT
I’ve always had a passion for helping others; travel, theme parks, organizing, and getting things done. Becoming a travel advisor just made sense! With Disney constantly changing and implementing new practices, I knew deep down that this is what I was meant to do.
I genuinely care about each and every one of my clients, their families, their vacations, and their experiences. I want everybody to feel comfortable, educated, and prepared for any destination they travel to.
I started my travel business in early 2023, quickly promoting myself, hitting milestone ranks, became a Senior Travel Advisor and the agency's top producer of Disney, Universal, Cruise and All Inclusive Vacations. A year later, I am the proud owner and head travel advisor of Go On Travel Co.
